I found Adperk from a forum 2 days ago, and I just loved it so much that I'm gonna post about it here!!
Adperk.com allows you to watch short videos/commercials for credits that can be redeemed for magazine subscriptions!
Most videos are about 2 minutes long, and you could get up to 2 credits for each video that you watched. You will need to enter a confirmation code at the end of the video to make sure that you actually watched the video. (They only give you 30 seconds to enter the code or else you have to watch the video again.)
But I found a way how NOT to watch the video AND get credits for "watching" it:
I like the long videos that get you 2 credits and so I just turn the volume up and sit next to the computer to read a magazine/book. After I hear that the sound stopped, I come over to the computer and enter the code!
They don't have much magazines that you can subscribe to right now, but I like the ones in the "coming soon" list, so I would check back daily to see whether or not we could watch videos for new magazines yet!
Once you get to Adperk, just choose a magazine from the bottom (You don't need to download the media kit), click on the register button from the top bar, and start watching videos to earn credits!
Some magazines need more credits than others, but they all need around 26 credits. So that's like 30 minutes of your time (13 2-minute videos) for a free magazine subscription, not bad!

SheSpeaks - Get to try new products for free!
SheSpeaks is a nice WOM (Word Of Mouth) company that you could get freebies from.
I have signed up with them a long time ago, and I remember checking the homepage 3 times a day to see if I've got any invites to product tests. And unfortunately, I didn't get any invitations until last month, when I found an invitation email in my inbox. So you need to be patient for this one, it may take more than a month to get invited to a test, but.. it'll be worth it when you get your freebie from them!
They don't have that much product tests, about 1 each month, and it's not exactly testing a new product... But they want your opinions on the product. So you'll get surveys where you have to say how you liked the product.
After I got my first product test invitation, I finally figured it out: you DON'T need to check your homepage everyday! Or at all actually, because they send you email invitations and more emails when you have a new survey to do or something.. It's different from BzzAgent. (AND less complicated :D)
So you get your invitation email, click on the link, take a short survey, wait for your product to arrive, then do another survey on their website, and if you like, tell other people about the product that you tried out. They don't expect you to write reports like BzzAgent does, but I usually tell my friends about the products if I like them.

HouseParty.com
HouseParty.com is a VERY VERY (:D) nice website where companies like Aveeno, Pampers, SC Johnson and Kraft give away free party packages (that includes their featured products, of course) to people who have been chosen to host a party and promote their products.
They have new HouseParties from time to time so check back to their Event Page often.
It's not first come, first serve, but you definitely want to apply before it's too late. Not everyone gets in, since there are ALWAYS TONS of people signing up for the houseparties, and the companies do have a specific kind of people that they want to host their parties.
Once they have viewed all the applications for a houseparty they will send out emails to everyone who applied, telling them if they got in or not (Usually about a week before the HouseParty date).
Now here's the first come, first serve part. If you got in, HURRY UP and click on the link in your email to set up your party! Sometimes a lot of people qualify to host the party so it's only the first 1,000 or something people who click on the link in their email and could actually get the free party package.
I came across this site about a month ago, and signed up for the Hershey Bliss Chocolate party, and I actually got to host it (the party was for my daughter and her friends though)!
They sent me a nice big (FREE) party package that included everything from napkins to 9 bags of chocolate!

The party itself is actually not a lot of work, you just need to fill out an online survey to see if you qualify to host the party, set up your party online if you got in, invite your friends to the party through houseparty.com or email, and then have your party!!
I think the houseparties are available to Canada residents, too.

It seems to me that all of the text message freebies listed on the internet are sent to the phone # 467467.
The first time that you text them, they will ask you for your phone #, then they automatically figure out your home address in like 2 seconds! (Isn't that COOL?) So the next time that you send them a text message (from the same cell phone), they'll already know your address and you'll only need to send them 1 message.
standard rates apply if you don't have text messaging in your plan already.
It only costed me 30 cents for the first freebie, since it was my first text to their #, and 15 cents for the second one.
