Ballas Hough Band Album Review

If you've watched the show Dancing With the Stars, then the names Mark Ballas and Derek Hough must ring a bell.

We all know that they have amazing talent - they're professional ballroom dancers and have both led their partners to victory on the show, but who knew they're such good singers, too?!

Entertaining audiences never took one form for Mark or Derek. The two best friends have been playing and making music together for more than a decade, in between touring theatrical productions and ballroom competitions. And like every achievement they've crossed off their collective to-do list, a career in music was a dream they worked towards tirelessly. They released their first album as a band, Ballas Hough Band on March 10th, and I recently got it in the mail for me to review. Let me tell you, I'm lovin' it!!

The songs are based on their own experiences, and they wrote most of the lyrics by themselves.
My favorite song is the first single, "Do It For You". It was co-written by the new American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi. It's actually stuck in my head right now! I love the tune, it's really catchy!!
