Rock Of Ages: Original Broadway Cast Recording

I recently received a copy of the Rock Of Ages: Original Broadway Cast Recording CD from One2One Network to review, I was really excited (you'll know why) and popped it into my CD player as soon as I opened the mail.

I totally loved all the songs on the CD! Well, to be honest, I was most excited to hear Don't Stop Believin', because the original song by Journey just happens to be one of my all-time favorites!
I can tell you that I was not disappointed by the CD at all, but the cast recording version is way, way different from the original, so it wasn't exactly what I expected to hear. If you've ever heard the "Glee" cast version of the song, this is sort of similar to that, they have a bunch of different voices (people) singing the songs.
Still, I like all the songs on this CD almost as much as I like the original versions. They're good, but not as good, and the originals are even better!

All the songs have some cheering and maybe some words that weren't a part of the lyrics in them, but this might be a good thing - it helps to recreate that whole "theater experience" and it just makes you feel as if you were really seeing/hearing the Broadway musical.
